Features: This book explains the etiology, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, and preventive health care of common male urological conditions such as prostatitis, benign prostatic hyperplasia, and prostate cancer in the form of Q&A, focusing on symptoms to introduce diseases. Written by five deputy chief physicians from our department, who possess extensive clinical experience, the book references a vast amount of domestic and international materials. In the midst of their busy medical, teaching, and research duties, they compiled 238 questions that address the (confusing) issues of patients with prostate diseases. The topics were refined through repeated discussions and feedback from different age groups of male friends in various settings such as community health education, senior universities, and science popularization lectures, focusing on questions that were most (concerning) and (interested) to them. Over nearly six months, the authors meticulously polished each question to ensure that one question clearly explains one symptom, one treatment method, or one preventive measure. The content may appear somewhat repetitive, but this is because some readers refer to the book by question. Since the target audience is the general male population, the book avoids theoretical basic research and anatomy, adhering to a practical writing principle. It aims to address the most (concerning) and frequently raised questions of patients with prostate diseases, making it equally helpful for physicians working in urology and male health fields.
