Features: This collection includes 29 selected old articles, though only a part of the published works. However, since the articles are arranged in chronological order, they can vaguely reflect some of my footsteps on the academic journey of musicology over the years. The collection is divided into three aspects: Chinese music archaeology, ancient Chinese music history, and exploration of pre-Qin music thought. Among them, the most belong to Chinese music archaeology, totaling 18 articles. There are 5 articles selected on ancient Chinese music history. Except for 3 that belong to textual research, the other two discuss the relationship between ancient Chinese music history and Chinese music archaeology. To be honest, my attempts in this field can only offer my book History of Pre-Qin Music as a reference for consideration.
