Under the commission of the Chinese Hospital Management Association and the Hospital Management Research Institute of the Ministry of Health, the Chinese Medical Equipment Association organized relevant writers to compile the book "Hospital Management – Medical Equipment Management" based on references to works such as "Introduction to Medical Technology Equipment Management" (compiled by the Ministry of Health in 1992). By summarizing the rich experience in China's medical equipment work, drawing on international scientific management and modern management models, and adapting to the new demands of healthcare reform and development in the new era, the book was collaboratively compiled with the aim of systematically discussing the basic concepts, characteristics, and role of medical equipment management in modern hospital management. It explores macro-management, procurement management, technical management, application management, quality management, economic management, financing management, information management, as well as organizational structure and human resource management. The book seeks to explore modern medical equipment management theory, techniques, and methods under the socialist market economy.
