"High School English Writing—Written Expression" is a foundational English writing textbook developed to meet the needs of high school English teaching in Beijing. Through systematic writing skill training, it aims to cultivate students' awareness of English writing, guide them to gradually master basic writing skills and methods, and improve their written expression abilities. To enhance the relevance and practicality of this textbook, we carefully studied the current "High School English Teaching Syllabus" and the relevant spirit of the college entrance examination English test, while also considering the practical realities of high school English teaching. "High School English Writing" follows the main principles of functional teaching methods, incorporates usable elements of structural teaching methods, and employs the primary means of process teaching methods. It emphasizes both the accuracy and standardization of written language and the coherence and appropriateness of thought expression.
