Features: The Vocabulary List in the Appendix of "Course Requirements" divides College English vocabulary into three levels.

Compared to the vocabulary list in the "College English Teaching Syllabus" (Revised Edition) of 1998, the "College English Vocabulary List" has a significantly larger vocabulary, with the main additions being cognitive vocabulary, where students can understand the meaning of a word upon seeing it. This indicates that "Course Requirements" places greater emphasis on cultivating students' practical language skills.
This book is divided into two parts.
Part 1 consists of 108 units, focusing on familiarizing students with words and providing targeted exercises. Each unit includes:
- Words to Be Remembered: Lists 10 carefully selected words for students to memorize.
- Test Yourself: Features three exercises:
I. 10 multiple-choice questions targeting the 10 central words, covering pronunciation, form, meaning, or collocation.
II. Word transformation exercises with some central words, requiring students to fill in the blanks.
III. 10 English-Chinese translations related to the central words.
Answers are provided at the end of each unit.
Part 2 consists of 10 comprehensive vocabulary exercises. Each unit includes:
- I. 20 multiple-choice questions.
- II. One proofreading exercise containing 15 errors.
- III. 5 English-Chinese sentence translations.
