Features: The Changbai Mountains, stretching over a thousand kilometers, span the eastern parts of Jilin, Liaoning, and Heilongjiang provinces. Therefore, "White Mountain" (Changbai Mountain) and "Black Water" (Heilongjiang River) have become synonymous with Northeast China, symbolizing the magnificent landscapes that have nurtured the northern Chinese ethnic groups. The main attractions of Changbai Mountain include:
- Climbing to Heaven Lake on the western slope of Changbai Mountain.
- The surrounding peaks of Yunfeng, Yuzhu Peak, Xianfu Peak, and 16 others around Heaven Lake, each reaching up to the heavens with altitudes exceeding 2,500 meters.
- Tiger Back, a colorful ridge resembling a giant Northeast tiger perched atop the summit.
- Breathing Slope, where every step leaves one panting for breath.
- Jinjiang Waterfall, with two tiers cascading down, creating mist as they plunge into the valley, offering a glimpse of a paradisiacal world.
- Tizi River, narrow at the top and widening below, with steep cliffs like razor-sharp blades, deep and cold streams, earning the name "Ten Thousand Meters of One Line."
- Yanshan Slope, covered in lush grass like a carpet.
- Alpine Garden, where elegant alpine rhododendrons, flawless alpine poppies, and unknown exotic flowers bloom in competition, filling the air with fragrance and evoking the beauty of both heaven and earth.
- Jinxi Spring, Yujiang Spring, and Lanhetai Spring, all shrouded in mystery.
