Publish Date: 2005-03-01
Features: This book compiles 180 works by pioneers and contemporary artists of Chinese ex libris, attempting to "think outside the box" and summarize the development of this art form in China, genuinely reflecting the level of ex libris creation in the country and predicting its future trends. Many of the excellent works in the book blend Eastern and Western styles, drawing on diverse influences, with strong Chinese characteristics and distinct personal styles. They embody a "solemn beauty," akin to an heartfelt monologue in language, a silent yet melodious perfect poem. This book is neither a typical art album nor a historical monograph; it is merely a personal perspective written alongside Chinese ex libris. Let us draw inspiration from ex libris and explore more beauty in life!
