Features: In January 2004, the first Beijing Industry Analysis Report was published. Since then, one report has been published every January, and the 2005 edition is the second one. The 2005 edition of the Beijing Industry Analysis Report reduced the introduction of industry conditions and conducted thematic analyses of various industries, aiming to solve one or two practical problems rather than covering everything comprehensively. The book is divided into three parts: the General Report, the Industry Analysis, and the Entrepreneurship Research. The Industry Analysis section is written by industry associations, while the Entrepreneurship Research section collects research reports from experts and scholars, focusing on the entrepreneurial capabilities of high-tech industries and private enterprises. To welcome the Olympics and promote development, the 2006 edition of the Beijing Industry Analysis Report will focus on six key issues:
(1) Design and production of tourism products in Beijing;
(2) Reform and development of the cultural industry in Beijing;
(3) How industries in Beijing can grow stronger;
(4) Industry competitiveness analysis in Beijing (where each industry stands nationally and what its core competitiveness is);
(5) Enhancing the entrepreneurial capabilities of industries in Beijing;
(6) The tertiary industry: Developing community-based elderly care services.
