Book of Five Leaves -- Records of Knowledge in the Republican Era Version

Author: Zhang Zexian
Publisher:
Publishing Date: 2005-03-01
Features: The author of this book uses a classification method to select five distinct "elements" from numerous Republican-era editions, which the author refers to as the "Five Leaves": cover design, book illustrations, publishing marks, book advertisements, and copyright pages. The structure is relatively clear. Although the editions and historical materials these "elements" are based on are old, the feelings and perspectives they evoke still hold a certain novelty, presenting readers with a relatively fresh sense of time and space.
