Chen Qiuying, female, was born in Tangshan in 1939. She graduated from the Chinese Department of Beijing Normal University in 1960. She taught in high schools for fifteen years. Since 1975, she has worked as an editor. Currently, she is a senior editor at the China Children's Publishing House and the editor-in-chief of Kid's World magazine. She is a member of the Chinese Writers' Association and the Beijing Science Popularization Writers' Association. This collection is a middle-length fairy tale series by the renowned fairy tale writer Chen Qiuying, including fifteen works, represented by A Wonderful Journey and The Summer Night of the Andersen Statue. These fairy tales feature unique concepts, intricate and complete stories, rich imagination, and thought-provoking depth.
