Features: Procurement is a crucial component of enterprise logistics activities, and the proportion of procurement costs in corporate sales revenue is quite high. This determines the multiplicative effect of cost savings in procurement. Therefore, strengthening procurement management is an important task for improving corporate efficiency. With the deepening of reform and opening-up, market competition has become increasingly fierce, and procurement management has attracted the attention of some Chinese enterprises. However, the level of attention is still insufficient, and there remains a phenomenon in production enterprises where "procurement serves production" is emphasized one-sidedly. One of the key features of this book is its accessibility and clarity, making it easy to understand while also addressing the development trends of international logistics theory and the current state of domestic logistics. While emphasizing the knowledge, popularization, and exploration of logistics science, the book also highlights the timeliness, systematic nature, and lean principles of modern logistics knowledge and practice. The authors have extensively collected, analyzed, and researched advanced research findings and specific research materials in the field of logistics both domestically and internationally, as well as the logistics practices of well-known enterprises. They strive to reflect the latest frontiers of corporate logistics development both theoretically and practically. This book can serve as supplementary teaching material for the corporate logistics course in the master's advanced training program for logistics management, as well as for logistics personnel training in production and circulation enterprises.
