Features: Niche is a highlight in indoor wall design, suitable for both home and public environments to enhance and beautify spaces. A niche is a hole cut into a wall, with concealed lighting on both sides of the hole to create a misty, draped effect for the decorative items inside. Alternatively, lighting can be placed above the hole to fully showcase the displayed objects. Niche openings can vary in size, length, and shape—square, round, long, or short—depending on the environment. The key to niche decoration lies in the perimeter of the wall opening, creating a frame-like effect that complements the void space inside, thereby reflecting cultural trends. Of course, the wall inside the niche can also be decorated, adding a sense of novelty.
Materials for niche exterior decoration are highly diverse, including variously colored and textured woods, ironwork, glass, copper, jade, fire-resistant panels, aluminum composite panels, and more. The cultural aesthetic features reflected by the artistic composition of niches entirely depend on the mood conveyed by their symbolic elements. For example, traditional Chinese brocade patterns, with their interwoven forms, effortlessly exude an ancient temperament and the fragrance of scholars. Materials with natural characteristics, such as teak, pine, or even field stones, similarly transport people back to a pastoral life. Free-flowing ironwork, column capitals, and European-style arches, no matter how used, retain an artistic flair of aristocratic European culture. Frameworks decorated with fire-resistant panels, aluminum composite panels, glass, or stainless steel strips cannot hide the younger generation’s yearning for bright sunshine and their passion for life.
