Features: This atlas is a comprehensive regional natural geography atlas, primarily intended for geography students at higher education institutions to study "China's Natural Geography," while also serving as a reference for middle school geography teachers and relevant scientific and technical personnel in learning and researching China's natural geography. The atlas systematically and comprehensively reflects the distribution patterns, interrelationships of various natural elements within the country, and the basic characteristics of different natural geographical regions. It also showcases China's achievements in utilizing and transforming nature, as well as the latest scientific research findings, while incorporating representative works from various academic schools appropriately. The entire atlas is divided into twelve thematic groups: Morphology and Geology, Climate, Terrestrial Water, Marine Areas, Soil, Biology, Evolution of Natural Environments, Resources, Comprehensive Natural Regionalization, Environmental Issues, Major Natural Transformation Projects, and China's Nature Conservation. Each thematic group is further divided into several units based on natural elements, with each unit consisting of several maps, charts, and statistical data. This atlas is rich in content, well-documented, diverse in presentation methods, and clearly highlights regional characteristics. It is currently the most systematic teaching atlas of China's natural geography available for public publication. It not only aligns well with the "China's Natural Geography" course at higher education institutions but also possesses a certain degree of completeness and independence, providing a necessary teaching tool for cultivating talent in China's socialist construction and achieving the four modernizations.
