Features: The Correspondence of Spinoza also plays a significant role in correcting some overly exaggerated interpretations of Spinoza's philosophical views. As is well known, Hegel highly evaluated this proposition, considering it "a great proposition: all determination is negation. The determined is the limited: for anything, including thought (in contrast to extension), can be said to be a determined thing, so it contains negation within itself, and its essence is based on negation.
