Features: As an annual report, this book inherits the systematic and comprehensive characteristics of the 2002 annual report in terms of research content. The book conducts economic analysis from macro to micro, from supply to demand, and from the whole to the part, covering the development dynamics of modern logistics in the two shores and three regions. At the same time, based on investigation and analysis, it determines the research feature of quantitative status analysis to address the current lack of national statistical data on modern logistics development in China. Building on the content of the 2002 annual report, this book adds the following aspects: (1) Industry Logistics Development Section, which selects two industries with distinctive characteristics in logistics development—automotive and pharmaceuticals—to analyze the current status and features of their logistics development. (2) Introduction to the Current Status of Foreign Logistics Development, which systematically introduces the development status and characteristics of modern logistics in major countries and regions worldwide, providing valuable references for studying China's logistics development. (3) Research on Regional Logistics Development from a New Perspective, which provides a more detailed description of the current status of logistics development in China's rapidly developing regions, such as the Pearl River Delta, Yangtze River Delta, and Bohai Rim economic circles, as compared to the rapid development of these regions in the 2002 annual report.
