Features: The quality of thinking determines the quality of the future. You can analyze the past, but you cannot design the future. What matters is not judging "what is," but thinking "what could be." Ensuring the correctness of every step actually limits creativity. Analyzing information can only help us select an idea from stored standard perspectives, but it cannot help us discover a new idea. The essence of traditional thinking methods lies in eliminating false, chaotic, and erroneous assumptions, rather than proposing better ideas and methods. "Possibility" may be the most important word in the realm of thinking. It is the power of "possibility" that has brought Western science and technology such tremendous progress. Moreover, innovation also means unprecedented value. Now, it is easy to understand why the business world and industry are so in need of innovation. Everyone faces various breakthrough bottlenecks: creating new products, new services, solving problems, reorganizing processes, and maintaining a strategic advantage, among others. However, innovation requires special skills. The Breakthrough teaches people how to become more creative and use their existing knowledge and experience to generate new ideas—the skill of horizontal thinking in management.
