Qidong High School in Jiangsu Province, founded in 1928, is one of the first national model high schools and the first batch of four-star schools in Jiangsu Province. The new round of educational reforms, curriculum reforms, and examination reforms has brought significant changes to China's college admission system, especially in the reform of examination content, which has placed greater emphasis on students' innovative abilities, practical skills, and comprehensive qualities. How to scientifically and effectively explore the new college entrance examination (Gaokao) system, achieving outstanding results with minimal input to gain maximum educational output, and thereby entering top universities—this is not only the dream of countless students but also the pursuit of all educators.
In response to this, our school has once again collaborated with Longmen Publishing House to scientifically plan and publish this comprehensive review series, "Qidong High School Middle School Entrance Examination Full Simulation" and "Qidong High School Gaokao Full Simulation." This series is the first time our school has partnered with Longmen Publishing House, a national-level publishing house, to produce a middle and high school review series. We have authorized Longmen Publishing House to exclusively use our registered "Qidong High School" trademark for this publication. This series is the result of the collective effort of all junior and senior high school teachers at Qidong High School, who have created the "Qidong High School Educational Myth." It comprehensively summarizes the intellectual achievements of our school's junior and senior high school teachers in teaching and review guidance, especially since the "3X" Gaokao reform and the new curriculum reform. It effectively addresses how to scientifically and effectively improve students' knowledge levels and learning abilities under the new curriculum and Gaokao system. This series will also promote the broader dissemination and utilization of our school's high-quality educational resources, allowing teachers and students from other schools across the country to share in the "full simulation" of Qidong High School. At the same time, we aim to accumulate practical experience in China's basic education and the new curriculum and examination reforms.
During the actual writing process, the book is divided into two rounds for the middle school entrance examination and three rounds for the Gaokao, aligning with the teaching and review progress of junior and senior high schools. The "Middle School Entrance Examination Full Simulation" includes six subjects in each round: Chinese, Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, and Politics. The "Gaokao Full Simulation" includes nine subjects in each round: Chinese, Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Politics, History, and Geography. The third round also includes two comprehensive volumes: "Comprehensive for Liberal Arts" and "Comprehensive for Science."
In each round, the books are divided into two parts: A and B. Part A serves as a comprehensive guide for teachers and students to interpret exam topics and questions, featuring main sections such as "Exam Outline Navigation," "Key Point Analysis," "Question Analysis," "Common Mistakes," and "Gaokao Forecast." Part B is a supplementary "Synchronous Enhancement Training." This series can be considered an invaluable practical guide for middle and high school entrance examinations.
We have carefully revised this series for the second edition, incorporating the outstanding achievements of educational, curriculum, and examination reforms from across the country over the past year. The revised second edition reflects the collective wisdom of dozens of experienced junior and senior high school teachers at our school. The questions are meticulously selected, analyzed, and refined to cultivate students' innovative and practical abilities. Through collective lesson planning, continuous refinement, and careful integration, the series combines originality with classic content, ensuring that each volume fully meets the requirements of the new middle and high school entrance examinations. We hope that "Qidong High School Middle School Entrance Examination Full Simulation" and "Qidong High School Gaokao Full Simulation" can truly serve as a green passage for students to successfully enter university.
Among the three rounds:
- The first round is the "Foundation" volume, written chapter by chapter or unit by unit, with a focus on interpreting key points from the new "Exam Outline" for the middle school entrance examination, supplemented by a large number of question analyses.
- The second round is the "Ability" volume, featuring thematic lectures and reinforcement training, primarily aimed at cultivating and improving students' comprehensive and applied abilities within subjects, as well as interdisciplinary comprehensive topics and training.
- The third round is the "Final Sprint" volume, designed for students to simulate, warm up, and prepare for the Gaokao in April and May. Each volume includes 15 carefully crafted full simulation papers for the middle school entrance examination and Gaokao, scientifically constructing the new platform for "exam outline, key points, and questions" to achieve zero-distance contact with the 2006 middle and high school entrance examinations.

The middle and high school entrance examination and Gaokao questions selected in our series, as well as our predictions, are scientifically and rigorously refined from thousands of questions, combined with our school's latest original questions. They possess high value, authority, guidance, and relevance. The purpose is to help students accurately grasp problem-solving patterns, improve their review efficiency, and enhance their exam-taking skills.
