Features: This series of books is developed based on the philosophy of the new curriculum reform by the Ministry of Education of China, in accordance with the National Mathematics Curriculum Standards, and is closely aligned with the primary school textbooks for nine-year compulsory education. This series has the following characteristics:
1. It is designed for all students, catering to talented students with interests, advocating autonomous learning, open learning, and exploratory learning.
2. Based on students' cognitive characteristics and the nature of mathematics, it closely connects with real-life scenarios, emphasizes ( means "inspiring guidance" in English), focuses on analyzing problem-solving processes, and summarizes and refines problem-solving methods and techniques, helping students improve their math performance while mastering these skills.
3. It emphasizes the inclusion of exploratory questions to encourage students to think and research, fostering their innovative thinking and spirit of exploration.
4. It focuses on designing comprehensive practical content to enhance students' ability to solve real-world problems.
5. The combination of (fun, engaging), (practicality), (representativeness), and (openness) is highlighted:
- (fun, engaging) is not just about interesting problems but also about the enjoyment derived from the problem-solving process and methods, guiding students to focus on learning problem-solving skills rather than just answers.
- (practicality) aims to make mathematical knowledge relatable to daily life and vice versa.
- (representativeness) ensures that problems are highly representative, enabling students to generalize and apply their knowledge to similar situations.
- (openness) refers to problems with open conditions, open conclusions, or even three-dimensionally open conditions and conclusions.
The content of the series spans from first to sixth grade, systematic and comprehensive, with difficulty levels appropriately adjusted. Each book is divided into four parts: Mathematical Problems, Geometric Problems, Statistics and Probability, and Comprehensive Applications. The arrangement progresses from easy to advanced, layer by layer, in a spiral manner.
Columns such as "Did You Know?" and "Knowledge Cards" interspersed throughout the content enrich students' knowledge, broaden their horizons, and stimulate their enthusiasm for learning and mastering mathematics independently.
