Since its launch, the book has been warmly welcomed and highly recognized by senior high school teachers and students.
To better grasp the new trends of the 2006 high school entrance exam reform, we organized a joint writing effort by senior-level teachers, subject leaders, and experienced exam research experts from dozens of top national demonstration high schools across the country to develop the 2006 edition of The Complete Quality High School Review Plan (including teacher and student editions), providing a scientific and comprehensive preparation plan for senior high school teachers and students. "No mistakes, innovation, and practicality" are the core design philosophies of the book.
"No mistakes" — We integrated educational resources from dozens of top-tier schools and teachers across the country, with experts overseeing every stage from initial conception to final proofreading, and top teachers refining every detail, embedding their professionalism into every part and nuance of the book. After three rounds of review and five rounds of proofreading, we further had experts and first-line senior high school teachers review and refine the content in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Hunan, Hubei, Guangdong, Fujian, Jiangxi, Tianjin, Beijing, Anhui, Chongqing, Liaoning, Shandong, and Sichuan. We conducted time-limited trials in over 100 key high schools and ordinary schools in urban and rural areas, promptly correcting any errors or imperfections found during review or trial use, striving for "zero mistakes" to ensure readers feel confident in purchasing, using, and excelling in the exam.
"Innovation" — The book's format is entirely based on research among frontline teachers and students, listening to the most authentic voices from senior high school classrooms, fully respecting the actual needs of senior high school review teaching. Designed according to the exam points sequence specified in the Exam Syllabus, it truly "enters the classroom," facilitating effective interaction between teaching and learning and maximizing review efficiency.
"Content" is the guarantee of the book's intrinsic quality. For The Complete Quality High School Review Plan, content innovation lies more in the completeness and fluidity of the approach and process, the scientific and novel yet effective review strategies provided, the rich and valuable preparation resources, and the fresh examples, exercises, and test questions. These are closely linked to production, social life, and the latest technological and cultural developments, focusing on hot and focal issues. We organized a large team of exam question-setting experts to compile new questions representing the trends of the exam reform under new contexts and scenarios, incorporating the latest exam questions or mock questions from professional journals, rephrasing classic questions from new perspectives, accurately guiding the direction of high school review, and imbuing the book with a strong sense of the times.
"Practicality" — the actual needs of the first-round high school review, fully implementing the spirit of the Exam Syllabus from the Ministry of Education's Exam Center, which emphasizes "medium-difficulty questions as the main focus," focusing on solidly strengthening foundational knowledge and ensuring students can reliably secure basic scores while preparing for challenging questions in terms of knowledge, skills, methods, and mindset. The book always adheres to a human-centered philosophy, putting readers first in its design. For example, in the Student Edition of The Complete Quality High School Review Plan, ample space is left for answering, supplementary one-round unit are designed for convenience and grading, and valuable preparation materials are appended at the end to provide a platform for students to summarize, synthesize, and reflect on exam points.
The book's format design and presentation style highlight practicality:
