Features: Huanggang resources are everywhere, and Huanggang Middle School is the only one! Authenticated by Huanggang Middle School, the first official publication of its internal workbook! Established in 1904, Huanggang Middle School of Hubei Province was designated as a key middle school in Hubei in 1953 and awarded the title of "Advanced Unit in the National Education System" in 1986. In 2002, it was recognized as an "Advanced Unit in National Spiritual Civilization Construction."
Huanggang Middle School upholds the educational philosophy of "putting people first and establishing the school with virtue," forming the distinctive feature of "comprehensive development with special talents" and exploring a teaching style of "seeking truth, refinement, uniqueness, and innovation." Its outstanding achievements in college entrance exams and competitions are the inevitable results of its long-term implementation of quality education, and only a part of its abundant teaching outcomes.
When it comes to cultivating students, what magic formula does Huanggang Middle School use? What power does it have to turn sand into a tower? What ability does it possess to turn stone into gold? These are questions I often hear. To think that Huanggang Middle School merely follows the of the college entrance exams and passively prepares for exams is incorrect. Huanggang Middle School does not advocate rote memorization or passive problem-solving. If it has any exceptional qualities, it lies in its ability to fully understand the intentions of test-setters, grasp their underlying principles, and become leaders rather than blind followers.
Huanggang Middle School does not oppose teachers diving into the sea of problems but strongly advocates students stepping out of it. It opposes students doing mechanical, simple, repetitive, and tedious exercises but requires them to complete necessary ones. We encourage students to tackle flexible, diverse, and widely applicable problems, allowing them to enrich their knowledge, develop skills, and enhance their qualities through the process of solving them.
If there is any other success Huanggang Middle School has achieved, it is that while cultivating and nurturing a large number of outstanding students, it has also forged its teaching staff, creating renowned master teachers in Hubei Province. These teachers possess profound scientific and cultural literacy, innovative educational concepts, unique teaching styles, artistic skills, and fruitful teaching results.
To showcase the talents of Huanggang Middle School teachers and share their teaching achievements, we have organized and carefully planned the writing of three series: Huanggang Middle School Workbook, Huanggang Middle School Exam Papers, and Huanggang Middle School 2006 College Entrance Exam Training Series (First and Second Rounds). The Huanggang Middle School 2006 College Entrance Exam Training Series (First and Second Rounds) adopts a "full simulation" format to highlight its features. Whether in open-ended or conventional problem types, the quantity and difficulty of the questions are designed to closely align with the college entrance exams, emphasizing innovation and practicality.
Targeting the different time periods and characteristics of the first, second, and third rounds of the college entrance exams, we have positioned the first-round training questions as unit exercises, the second-round questions as thematic exercises, and the third-round questions as mock tests, providing a comprehensive, progressive solution to the problems students encounter during their three-round review.
Part of the content of this series comes from our school's internal use and exchanges with friendly schools, while the other part consists of newly supplemented materials based on recent changes in college entrance exam questions. This series is now compiled and published for the first time.
This series also reflects the following writing philosophy and features:
1. Appropriate exercise positioning: Based on the chronological order of the time periods, the exercises in this series focus on consolidating and improving the knowledge points, question types, and methods related to the exam content. The complexity and difficulty of the questions gradually advance toward the college entrance exams in a progressive manner.
2. Detailed solution hints: The answers at the end of the book are appropriately detailed, with more thorough explanations provided for difficult questions. The well-placed hints in the series often play a pivotal role.
This series emphasizes the originality and quality of the questions written by the authors, with rigorous review and proofreading at every stage, striving to become a unique gem in the educational supplement market.
