In 1962, she responded to the government's call to "downsize the bureaucracy" and returned home. In 1969, she followed her husband to the rural mountains. In 1973, she returned to the city after policies were implemented. She endured hardships and lived a life. At the age of 73, she wrote this emotionally rich little book.
