Features: Readers have different English proficiency levels, and their actual needs also vary. This dictionary helps readers learn and master vocabulary while reviewing and expanding their knowledge, broadening their horizons. It also enables readers to summarize familiar vocabulary materials, grasp their key points, and integrate them effectively in language practice, achieving twice the result with half the effort. This dictionary comprehensively covers nearly 2,000 words and over 400 phrases from the "General Examination Syllabus for College Entrance Examinations in Ordinary Universities," as well as 2,000 words listed in the "Teaching Syllabus for Full-Time Senior High School English." Additionally, it includes all the words found in current primary and secondary school textbooks. Based on the principle of "combining sound and word, word and sentence, and learning and application" in English learning, this dictionary organizes words into basic groups, each including seven elements: word, phonetic transcription, definition, phrases, usage analysis, examples, and grammar points. It systematically and comprehensively explains all the essential grammar points needed in primary and secondary school English learning. Adhering to the principle of "combining learning and application," all the example sentences in this book are derived from or adapted from the original texts of primary and secondary school lessons. During the adaptation process, efforts are made to highlight practicality and classicism. This allows students to learn sentence structures while grasping word meanings, collocations, and usage, ultimately achieving a thorough understanding. In the end, it not only improves English language communication skills but also enhances English test-taking abilities.
