This book is the "Grammar Module" of the "English Unified Examination Guidance Series for," which is based on the latest exam syllabus. It covers all the grammar topics required by the new syllabus, including nouns, articles, pronouns, adjectives, adverbs, conjunctions, modal verbs, tenses, voice, mood, non-finite verbs, simple sentences, compound sentences, and complex sentences. Grammar has always been considered a very tedious subject. In light of this, this book adopts a "speaking grammar" approach, placing tedious rules within vivid examples to make abstract grammar concrete. This makes English grammar easier to understand, learn, and master.
To help readers consolidate the grammar rules they have learned, each chapter ends with exercises related to the chapter, accompanied by detailed solutions for reference. Another feature of this book is that the last chapter provides a thorough analysis of the grammar error-correction questions in the unified examination and introduces effective answering techniques. At the end of the book, there are abundant comprehensive exercises, which can be seen as a network woven from grammar rules. They serve as a comprehensive summary and review of the grammar knowledge learned, as well as a full test of the reader's error-detection abilities.
To help readers fully familiarize themselves with the grammar error-correction, all the exercises in this book are presented in the form of error-correction, making the review more targeted. Grammar is the foundation of English learning and a key to improving English exam scores. In terms of reading, grammar acts as a link, connecting individual words to give them meaning. Cloze tests test grammar as well as vocabulary based on grammatical foundations. Translation cannot be separated from grammatical analysis. Without understanding grammar, writing becomes impossible. By studying the grammar in this book and practicing the accompanying exercises, readers will not only deepen their understanding of grammar but also improve their overall exam skills, achieving a qualitative leap in their English learning.
