Features: Huanggang resources are everywhere, but Huanggang High School stands alone! Authenticated by Huanggang High School, this is the first public release of its internal workbook! Warm-up before class, in-class exercises; homework after class, middle school exams in real-time! Founded in 1904, Huanggang High School in Hubei Province was a key high school in Hubei since 1953 and was awarded the title of "Advanced Unit in the National Education System" in 1986. In 2002, it was recognized as an "Advanced Unit in National Spiritual Civilization Construction."
Huanggang High School upholds the educational philosophy of "people-oriented, virtue-based," forming the distinctive character of "comprehensive development with special talents" and exploring a teaching style of "seeking truth, refinement, innovation, and novelty." Her achievements in college entrance exams and competitions are the inevitable results of her long-term implementation of quality education, and only a part of her abundant teaching accomplishments.
When it comes to cultivating students, what magic formula does Huanggang High School use? What power does it have to turn sand into a tower? What ability does it possess to turn stone into gold? These are questions I often hear. To think that Huanggang High School merely follows the (command) of college entrance exams and passively adapts to them is incorrect. Huanggang High School does not advocate rote memorization or passive problem-solving. If it has any exceptional qualities, it lies in its ability to fully understand the intentions of test-setters, grasp their underlying principles, and become leaders rather than blind followers.
Huanggang High School does not oppose teachers diving into the sea of problems but strongly advocates students stepping out of it. It opposes students doing mechanical, simple, repetitive, and tedious exercises but requires them to complete necessary ones. We encourage students to tackle flexible, diverse, and widely applicable problems, allowing them to enrich their knowledge, develop skills, and enhance their qualities through the process of solving them.
If there is any other success Huanggang High School has achieved, it is that while nurturing and shaping a large number of outstanding students, it has also forged its teaching staff, creating renowned master teachers in Hubei Province. These teachers possess profound scientific and cultural literacy, innovative educational concepts, unique teaching styles, artistic skills, and fruitful teaching results.
To showcase the talents of Huanggang High School's teachers and share their teaching achievements, we have organized first-line core teachers from the school to meticulously plan and compile three series: "Huanggang High School Workbook," "Huanggang High School Exam Papers," and "Huanggang High School 2006 College Entrance Exam First and Second Round Training Questions."
The "Huanggang High School Workbook" series is based on the "Teaching Syllabus" and "Exam Syllabus," highlighting the role of "homework" in helping students develop learning abilities, problem-solving skills, and exam skills. It reflects the inevitable connection between Huanggang High School students' brilliance in exams and their rigorous daily practice. This series features a carefully designed format, emphasizing reinforcement and skill improvement through four major sections: "Pre-Class Warm-up," "In-Class Exercises," "After-Class Homework," and "Middle (Senior) High School Exam Online." It also has the following characteristics:
1. Appropriate Exercise Placement: The exercises are carefully arranged to reinforce and progressively improve the key points, types, and methods related to each topic. The series aims to elevate students' problem-solving abilities through progressive exercises in ability-based, open-ended, applied, and comprehensive formats.
2. Moderate Difficulty Gradient: The ratio of basic, intermediate, and advanced questions in this series is 6:3:1, making it suitable for the use of most secondary schools. Most questions are labeled with A, B, or C to indicate their difficulty level, ensuring clarity and appropriateness.
3. Detailed Solution Hints: The answers at the back of the book are well-balanced, with detailed solutions provided for difficult questions. It is worth mentioning that the insightful hints often play a pivotal role in guiding students.
This series emphasizes the originality and quality of the authors' exercises, with rigorous review and proofreading at every stage, striving to become a unique gem in the educational supplement market.
