From Mouse to Brush: Using "Piranesi" to Freehand Sketch

Features: This book takes Piranesi 3.0 as an example to introduce the main techniques of Piranesi and how to flexibly use Piranesi to create images similar to traditional freehand sketches. Piranesi has only about a dozen operation icons, but it can produce dazzling graphics—therefore, this book focuses on explaining how to find a way to combine Piranesi's usage techniques with traditional hand-drawing experience. Based on this idea, the chapters on Piranesi's menu are relatively brief, while most of the content is dedicated to introducing the thinking and methods of using Piranesi in design expression. The book is divided into four chapters: Chapter 1 briefly introduces the operation interface of Piranesi; Chapter 2 introduces the basic drawing methods of Piranesi, discussing the key techniques in this method in separate chapters and directly combining the techniques with the principles of traditional freehand painting in the explanations; Chapter 3 introduces the complete drawing process, with examples covering architectural design, interior design, and landscape design; Chapter 4 selects some works created by the author using Piranesi (some of the works have been officially included by the UK government for use in website and poster promotional materials).
