Features: Letters are a means of communication between the writer and the recipient. Some things are only understood by those involved, let alone the events discussed in these letters, which date back over two hundred years. Therefore, the difficulty of translation is self-evident. In translating, I have made appropriate omissions for passages that are obscure or of little significance to readers, to avoid compromising the accuracy of the translation and to maintain the readers' interest in the poet's correspondence. Keats was a great Romantic lyric poet of 19th-century England. A considerable number of his poems are interspersed in his letters, written spontaneously at the time of writing. These poems are not included in this book due to its format and length, and it is fortunate that they, along with Keats' other works, have already been published with existing translations. Readers interested in them may find them elsewhere. Additionally, the few poems retained in this book are selected from those that have already been translated, with the best translations adopted without retranslation, as it is unlikely that a new translation could surpass them.
