Selected Prose of Rilke

Author: Rainer Maria Rilke, Zhang Li, Qian Chunqi
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2005-05-01
Features: Rilke is a great theological poet, and his prose also possesses poetic qualities. This book collects Rilke's most important essays and sketches, divided into four parts: art criticism, literary criticism and book reviews, sketches and prose poems, as well as selected letters. If Rilke's poetry is obscure and difficult to understand, then his essays and sketches may help us more clearly grasp his views on beauty and art, as well as his meditations on God (existence).
