Features: The story of the Seven Heroes and Five Righteous Ones has been widely circulated in folklore. The earliest version was the long narrative martial arts detective novel Zhonglie Xiyi Zhuan, written by an anonymous Qing Dynasty author based on the storytelling and singing of Shi Yukun and his written record Longtu Erlu. Later, it was rewritten into Qixia Wuyi. During the reign of Emperor Renzong in the Song Dynasty, a group of martial arts heroes led by the Southern Hero Zhan Zhao, the Northern Hero Ouyang Chun, and the Five Rats emerged in the Jianghu. Under the guidance of Bao Da of Kaifeng Fu, they punished the evil, promoted the good, suppressed the violent, and brought peace. Faced with traitors and villains led by Zhao Jue of Xiangyang Wang and other Jianghu scoundrels, they risked their lives to uphold justice, eliminating Pang Yu, capturing Jiang Bu, beheading Ma Qiang, and recruiting Zhong Xiong. In the end, they cleverly subdued Junshan Mountain, laying the foundation for ultimately crushing Zhao Jue's rebellion.
