Features: This book introduces Russia's think tanks in China, titled Russia's Foreign Policy Think Tanks. One of the editors, Ji Zhiye, Director of the Russia Institute at the China Modern Institute of International Relations, stated that Russia's Foreign Policy Think Tanks holds significant reference value for China in formulating correct policies towards Russia and deepening the China-Russia strategic cooperative partnership. "This book is also a gift to Russia for the 'Year of Russia' that will be held in China next year. It will serve as a bridge for expanding cooperation between the two countries in the field of culture." Today, under President Putin's leadership, Russia's national strength has rapidly recovered, and its international influence continues to rise. Among these, Russia's substantial intellectual resources—its foreign policy think tanks and experts—have played a remarkable role. The authors of this book aim to comprehensively review and interpret the situation of Russia's important think tanks, including both government-level research institutions and scientific and academic institutions; official research departments and civil organizations and clubs; as well as renowned "leading figures" in the field of diplomacy and silent researchers who exert actual influence. Our goal is to provide a new perspective for domestic Russia studies. Russia's Foreign Policy Think Tanks includes brief profiles of over 70 Russian foreign policy research institutions and nearly 450 scholars, covering various research fields and specific achievements of the think tanks. Another editor, Dr. Feng Yujun, stated, "It took over a year from the conception to the publication of this book. The composition of Russia's foreign policy research institutions is quite complex, including both officially backed research institutes and universities, as well as independent organizations. The rich sources of diplomatic thought have determined the flexibility of Russian foreign policy."
