Features: Establishing a new world order was a strategic goal the U.S. government had long set in the early 20th century, but it was fully implemented only after the end of the Cold War in the late 20th century. In the post-Cold War era, U.S. policymakers and scholars proposed a series of theories and principles to establish a new world order, while the U.S. government also took various concrete measures, including economic sanctions and military interventions. This book comprehensively explores the origins, connotations, context, nature, objectives, and implementation process of U.S. post-Cold War foreign policy aimed at establishing a new world order that aligns with American values, maintains global stability, and benefits the interests of Western countries represented by the United States. In U.S. foreign policy from the 20th to the 21st century, establishing a world order that reflects American values, maintains global stability, and serves the interests of Western countries represented by the United States has been the primary goal and overall direction of U.S. post-Cold War foreign policy. Based on extensive research, this book provides an in-depth analysis of the origins of the new world order in the post-Cold War era, the theoretical framework and practical requirements of the new world order, the role, effectiveness, and practice of military intervention theory in establishing the new world order, and the connection between national counterterrorism strategies and the new world order.
