For TCM syndromes that cannot be diagnosed in Western medicine, the book briefly describes them as Western symptoms. The book introduces over 1,000 single and effective formulas for treating oral diseases, which are simple, convenient, and have satisfactory effects, suitable for various populations. Additionally, it provides hundreds of decoctions and patent medicines for treating oral diseases, most of which are annotated with references from ancient classics. Some new formulas and medicines are listed in Appendix 3 and can be selected under the guidance of a physician as needed. The third part focuses on the knowledge and measures for oral prevention and health care. Its content includes: Toothbrushing knowledge, dietary health care methods, tooth health exercises, tooth tapping methods, tooth pecking methods, toothpicking methods, tooth rubbing methods, mouthholding methods, rinsing methods, pasting methods, urinary retention to strengthen teeth methods, gum massage methods, tongue health care methods, tongue licking oral mucosa health care methods, Jinjin Yuye health care methods, temporomandibular joint health care methods, oral guiding methods, oral disease taboo methods, finger extension and flexion to unblock meridians exercises, special oral health care for children and women, totaling over 20 categories and nearly 100 health care techniques and knowledge for readers to choose from. At the end of the book, there are self-massage techniques and precautions, as well as 42 new formulas and medicines for treating oral diseases and over 70 commonly used acupuncture and massage points for reference.
