Features: This book collects abbreviations used in modern Chinese. The book contains a total of 5,284 entries in the main text and 1,544 entries in the appendix, totaling 6,228 entries. The main text entries are arranged in order of stroke count, from few to many. All entries, definitions, and example sentences use the currently common form of Chinese characters, without traditional characters or variant characters. Each entry is annotated with Pinyin, and the Pinyin is written in separated form. There is a stroke index for entries at the beginning of the main text, and an appendix at the end.
