Features: Mathematics, physics, and chemistry are the three foundational and most important science subjects in the secondary school stage. The study of these three subjects lays the groundwork for cultivating natural scientists, natural science workers, and various innovative talents. Therefore, both students, teachers, and parents pay great attention to the learning of these three subjects. Each of these three subjects has a vast discipline system, with numerous concepts, formulas, and theorems specific to the course. The necessary and scientific organization of these concepts, formulas, and theorems, highlighting their intrinsic connections, and supplemented with typical examples to demonstrate their fundamental applications—this is the work of this Junior High School Mathematics and Physics Concepts, Formulas, and Theorems Handbook. We hope that the publication of this handbook will provide convenience for students and other readers. Recently, we revised the handbook again based on the curriculum standards for the three subjects issued by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, taking into account the new curriculum standards of Shanghai, and referring to textbooks compiled in certain regions or provinces. It is particularly noteworthy that all three subjects emphasize the philosophies and methods they embody, significantly increasing open-ended problems, exploratory problems, and applied problems with practical backgrounds. The aim is to cultivate students' abilities to process and transform information, their courage to explore and innovate, and their skills in analyzing and solving problems.
