Features: For a long time after World War II, due to various subjective and objective reasons, the issue of the Japanese army's bacteriological warfare in China was not thoroughly studied. Since the 1990s, with the continuous progress of China's victims' lawsuits against Japan for bacteriological warfare, abandoned chemical weapons, laborers, and "comfort women," the Japanese army's bacteriological warfare in China has gradually become a hot topic in academic research in our country. The victim investigation of the Jiangxi Bacteriological Warfare was carried out under the strong promotion of Ms. Wang Xuan and Postdoctoral Fellow Wu Yongming. In 2003, Ms. Wang Xuan and Postdoctoral Fellow Wu Yongming, along with others, established the Jiangxi Bacteriological Warfare Research Institute at Jiangxi Normal University and conducted victim investigations. In the past two years of research, Wu Yongming has revealed the dark of the Japanese army's bacteriological warfare in Jiangxi through his writings, filling a gap in the history of the Anti-Japanese War in Jiangxi, and has become a powerful work in condemning the Japanese army's war crimes against China, effectively countering Japan's denials of aggression. The book explores the reasons for the formation of Japan's bacteriological warfare strategy from cultural, ideological roots, and strategic objectives, revealing the activities of the Japanese army in Jiangxi, including the Japanese invasion of Jiangxi and the political and military control implemented in Jiangxi, especially describing the entire process of the Japanese bacteriological troops' bacteriological attacks on Jiangxi; it also provides a detailed account of the victim investigation of the Japanese bacteriological warfare in Yushan, Shangrao, and Guangfeng in Jiangxi.
