Features: This book is compiled based on the "Teaching Syllabus for Labor and Technology Courses in Full-Time Junior High Schools under the Nine-Year Compulsory Education Program" issued by the State Education Commission. It primarily explains the usage methods and maintenance knowledge of common household appliances such as electric irons, electric fans, washing machines, refrigerators, recorders, and televisions. To enhance understanding, the book also provides general introductions to the principles and structures of these household appliances. To meet the needs of students at different levels, a small number of optional reading texts are included. In line with the characteristics of labor and technology courses, the book designs 11 practical projects and 5 extracurricular exercises for teaching purposes. During the writing process, efforts were made to ensure the book is illustrated, easy to understand, and combines knowledge with practice while unifying ideological and scientific content. The book is primarily intended for junior high school teaching but can also be used for senior high school teaching, covering approximately 30 class hours. When used in senior high schools, the reading texts can be treated as compulsory content.
