Features: The use of the flute to perform Chinese music has always attracted attention. Older generations of musicians and flutists have composed and adapted many excellent Chinese works for the flute. Most of these pieces have been tested through practice and are widely used in flute teaching and concert performances in China, playing a significant role in promoting the development of flute performance art in our country. Now, a selection of widely circulated pieces and some outstanding newly created works in recent years have been compiled into this book, with the aim of allowing more people to understand Chinese flute music and enabling the development of our national music to reach greater heights. The two CDs included with the book were specially recorded to give performers a preliminary impression of the pieces compiled in the book. Chinese flute music covers a wide range of themes and rich content, and players of different levels can interpret each piece differently. It is hoped that these audio materials will serve as a stepping stone to inspire further exploration.
