Features: Vocabulary is a crucial component of language proficiency and plays a vital role in passing PETS exams at all levels. To help learners at various levels master PETS vocabulary and improve their language skills, we have compiled the "Vocabulary Handbook for National English Level Test" based on the National English Level Test syllabus. The handbook is divided into two volumes: "Vocabulary Handbook for National English Level Test (Levels 1 and 2)" and "Vocabulary Handbook for National English Level Test (Levels 3 and 4)." The "Vocabulary Handbook for National English Level Test (Levels 1 and 2)" includes approximately 5,500 words and related phrases listed in the vocabulary lists for PETS Levels 1 and 2 through Level 4 exams. In addition to the original definitions, it also adds new definitions that candidates should master for Levels 3 and 4. Each entry includes the word, phonetic transcription, part of speech, and Chinese definitions. The Chinese definitions are arranged in order of frequency of use, which are the key definitions candidates should master. Some entries also include examples, inflectional forms, distinctions, and usage notes, which provide practical guidance for candidates preparing for the exam.
