Features: According to the requirements of the Ministry of Health and the Chinese Medical Association, the Tuberculosis Branch of the Chinese Medical Association organized the writing of the "Clinical Diagnosis and Treatment Guidelines · Tuberculosis Volume." This book includes nine chapters covering respiratory tuberculosis, extrapulmonary tuberculosis, tuberculosis and related diseases, nontuberculous mycobacterial diseases, chemotherapy for tuberculosis, immunotherapy for tuberculosis, surgical treatment of respiratory tuberculosis, and the prevention of tuberculosis as well as the diagnosis and treatment of common acute and severe conditions of pulmonary tuberculosis. It is over 100,000 words in total.
In each chapter, the clinical manifestations, diagnostic key points, treatment principles, and protocols for tuberculosis are detailed. The book focuses on introducing antituberculous drug varieties and formulations, the basic principles of tuberculosis chemotherapy, the targets of tuberculosis chemotherapy, tuberculosis chemotherapy regimens, drug dosages, usage, main adverse reactions, and handling principles. It also covers immunotherapy for tuberculosis and surgical treatment of respiratory tuberculosis, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of common acute and severe conditions of pulmonary tuberculosis, and briefly proposes key measures for tuberculosis prevention. This guideline can be used by clinical and prevention personnel in tuberculosis specialty institutions as well as professionals in general hospitals.
