2. The entries are arranged in the order of the Pinyin phonetic sequence of the first character, with ties broken by the stroke count of the first character. If the stroke count is also the same, the second character's Pinyin sequence is used for further sorting.
3. The dictionary does not provide phonetic annotations for every character in the entries, only for disyllabic characters and obscure characters, with annotations enclosed in parentheses.
4. Most entries include example sentences, which are placed after the definitions and preceded by "[Ex]".
