Features: Interventional radiology in China began in the early 1980s, starting relatively late but progressing rapidly. In particular, interventional therapy has pioneered minimally invasive diagnostic and treatment methods. To date, interventional diagnostic and treatment technologies have been widely applied to various systems, multiple diseases, and lesions throughout the body, with continuously improving efficacy. Among these, interventional treatment for vascular diseases in different parts and categories is a significant component. Currently, China's overall level of vascular interventional therapy still has a considerable gap compared to international advanced standards. With its vast territory, China's development of vascular interventional therapy and academic levels varies greatly among regions and even different units. Systematic and standardized procedures for interventional treatment of major and common vascular diseases have yet to be established. At this critical moment, Professor Li Maoquan and five other editors, along with 19 domestic and international institutions, jointly compiled and published Clinical Vascular Interventional Therapy. The book's key features are its emphasis on clinical practicality and operability, fully integrating the latest research progress and relevant basic knowledge. It is divided into six parts and 56 chapters, covering interventional treatments for various diseases of the nervous system, major blood vessels, and peripheral blood vessels, but excluding interventional treatment for cardiac vascular diseases. Each chapter is generally structured into an overview, clinical manifestations, and interventional therapy, with rich content. The involvement of numerous domestic and international authors reflects diverse academic insights and styles, which is another distinctive feature of the book.
