The struggle of Chinese civilian war victims against Japan for compensation is extraordinary in itself. While exposing the atrocities of the Japanese army's invasion of China, it serves as a powerful rebuttal to Japan's right-wing forces and also upholds human rights and national dignity. This is a rational act. From a long-term perspective, this struggle is beneficial for building a truly friendly foundation between the people of China and Japan.
