Features: Preface by Translator: With the advancement of electronic technology, digital signals have replaced analog signals and taken the dominant position. Currently, although the majority of research institutions offer "Digital Signal Processing" courses, focusing on the fundamental theories of digital signal processing, the content covered still has a certain distance from practical theories and algorithms. During the writing process of this book, special attention was paid to the aforementioned issue, and the content is very close to practical applications. It can serve as an introductory book for beginners and also provide further study for graduate students and engineers. The book covers a wide range of topics, arranged in order of the difficulty of the theories involved. The first seven chapters are classic theories of digital signal processing, while the last two chapters introduce modern theories. Chapters 1 and 2 review the fundamentals of signals and systems and introduce the basics of digital signal processing. Chapter 3 introduces the basic tools of digital signal processing—the Discrete-Time Fourier Transform (DTFT). Chapters 4 to 8 cover the design of filters and filter banks, multirate signal processing, and other related topics. Chapter 9 introduces the fundamentals of time-frequency analysis. Readers can selectively read based on their needs and level. It is believed that this book will be helpful to everyone. The translation of the entire book took nearly eight months to complete the first draft. During the proofreading of the first draft, we discussed and analyzed together, deepening everyone's understanding of the theories of digital signal processing. Translation is a tough job, but when the book is about to be published, this hardship has turned into an exciting and joyful anticipation. As a teacher and a translator, at this moment, I hope to share this joy with the readers, the people involved in the translation, and the editors of the publishing house. I also hope to dedicate this book as a gift to my mentor, Professor Chen Jian, and I hope he will be as happy to receive this gift as he was when holding my doctoral dissertation. Last, I would like to thank my parents and my wife for their support, which allowed me to dedicate significant effort to this work. My gratitude is beyond words—let me quote a line from a song: "On the medal of honor, there is half of me and half of you." Due to limitations in level and time, there may be errors or omissions in the book. We sincerely welcome readers to point them out. This book is the crystallization of the author's 20 years of teaching experience, elaborating on the theories and implementations of digital signal processing. It not only includes the fundamentals of signals and systems but also discusses more advanced concepts of DSP. When explaining mathematical concepts, the author's clear thinking and rigorous derivations will help readers grasp the origins and developments of the theories. Main Content:
