Features: The "Code for Energy Efficiency Design of Public Buildings" GB50189—2005 was organized, reviewed, approved by the Ministry of Construction, and jointly issued with the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine. It officially came into effect on July 1, 2005. This is China's first comprehensive national standard for energy efficiency design of public buildings approved and published by the Ministry. The standard is not only strong in policy and economy but also covers a wide range, with significant challenges in implementation. To support the popularization, implementation, and supervision of the standard, the Standard and Price Department of the Ministry of Construction organized the main compilers of the standard to write this "Popularization and Guidance Teaching Material." The material mainly includes five parts: Part 1, Compilation Overview; Part 2, Interpretation of the "Code for Energy Efficiency Design of Public Buildings," which explains each clause of the standard in detail, providing comprehensive content and serving as the key to implementing and understanding the standard; Part 3, Special Topics, which introduces the determination of some technical indicators and parameters during the standard's compilation process; Part 4, Related Laws, Regulations, and Policies; Appendix, Technical Introduction of Related Products.
Target Audience: This book is suitable for reference use by a wide range of professionals in architectural engineering design, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), and engineering supervision.
