Silent yet expressive. – Eagle on the Cliff (netizen)
Gentle, lingering, delicate, exquisite. – Luo Bing (musician, writer, poet)
Starting from a single alleyway to step into the world, like the fate of a river—small streams, small rivers, big rivers, rivers, seas. The author, with their extraordinary imagination, completed a journey through time, allowing readers to take a vivid trip into the past. The intricate and tangled feelings constantly entangle the readers, leaving them unable to stop. – Nine Hexagrams (renowned online writer)
The quadruple of fate—whether playing or listening, we are all filled with a profound sense of historical. – Zhang Shengyou (renowned reportage writer)
In the impression of many young people, that period of history was gray—gray sky, gray earth, gray clothes, and gray faces. There was no joy, no smiles, no thoughts; people lived like insects. Girls were not beautiful, with short hair, military uniforms, flat chests, and only mindlessly following others to read slogans and shout slogans. Everything—work, life, love, and marriage—was arranged by the organization. But these were just superficial appearances, just a thin layer of rock on the Earth's surface. Beneath it, there was molten lava and many frozen memories. Four Records of a Floating Life showcases the passionate love during that period. Their love was like surging lava, flowing silently and ceaselessly beneath the desolate and cold crust.
