A very important task or mission for medical personnel is to ensure that every patient and even healthy individuals can benefit from the progress of modern medicine. However, due to historical and realistic reasons, there has been a severe imbalance in the medical information between medical personnel and the general public, especially patients. Medical personnel possess a wealth of medical knowledge, while patients and their families are relatively disadvantaged. Medical personnel have the responsibility and obligation to reduce this imbalance through various means, including education and publicity. In this sense, the asthma education and management work we have been committed to for over ten years is actually an effort to change the imbalance in medical information on asthma prevention and treatment between us and asthma patients. Objectively speaking, these efforts have achieved significant results, but we still need to continue working hard.
Lastly, it should be noted that the articles included in this book only represent a part of the rich experiences and insights of the general asthma patients in preventing and controlling asthma.
