Features: In recent years, with the rapid advancement of science and technology and the gradual improvement of material cultural life, the field of psychological counseling has garnered increasing attention from people. Although psychological counseling has started relatively late in China, its development has been quite rapid. With a large population and the country undergoing deep reforms, social conditions are undergoing dramatic changes, and many issues require adaptation, which inevitably increases the demand for psychological counseling professionals. It is against this backdrop that we have established the Medical Psychology program and compiled this textbook. We have referred to a vast amount of domestic and international materials and, combining the current of psychological counseling work in China, summarized our practical experiences and insights. We have made every effort to introduce the theories, methods, and techniques related to psychological counseling. This book can serve as a professional textbook for relevant disciplines in higher education institutions and can also be used as a reference for clinical workers, psychology professionals, education professionals, sociology professionals, and others.
