Features: The "Illustrated Color Atlas of Major Camellia Species" is the world's first comprehensive monograph of Camellia plants featuring color illustrations and the most species of Camellia. It includes a preface by Professor Zhang Hongda, a renowned Camellia classification expert from the world; a foreword by Professor Ye Chuangxing, a leading Camellia expert from China; a foreword by Mr. Gregory Davies, the president of the International Camellia Society; and an introduction to the Golden International Camellia Species Garden, classification systems, key botanical terms, Camellia species groups, and descriptions. The book features 19 groups and 199 Camellia species, each accompanied by a color illustration and bilingual (Chinese and English) descriptions. For most people, the vast majority of the species introduced in this book are unfamiliar. However, through cultivation, research, and photography of these lesser-known Camellia species, people will gradually come to appreciate their horticultural value. It is reported that while there have been books on Camellia classification published in the past, none of them included real color illustrations of the species, only hand-drawn line drawings or diagrams, making it difficult for gardeners or plant researchers to identify the species. The publication of the "Illustrated Color Atlas of Major Camellia Species" will promote the breeding and landscape application of tea flowers in China and even worldwide.
