Pocket Non-standard Timber Volume Table (Revised Edition)

Author: Liu Zhiqin
Publisher:
Publishing Date: 2005-01-01
Features: This "Pocket Non-standard Timber Volume Table" was originally planned to be published together with "Pocket Timber Volume Table," but after consulting relevant experts and readers, it was deemed more practical to publish them as separate volumes. The term "non-standard" refers to timber whose length, width, and thickness do not have specific specifications. Instead, timber of varying widths are grouped based on thickness and cumulatively measured in square meters, then multiplied by their length to calculate the volume. Therefore, this book holds greater universal practical value. Specific changes and additions include:
1. The volume tables for raw timber and timber beams were revised to increase the length range from the original 1-4m or 4-8m to 1-8m. The 2-6m section remains unchanged.
2. The original "Common Non-standard Timber Volume Table" now includes thickness measurements from 12mm to 215mm.
3. Due to the expanded range of volume specifications, the number of listed volume data has significantly increased. The "Pocket Timber Volume Table" data increased from 28,360 to 30,840; the "Pocket Timber Beam Volume Table" data increased from 31,820 to 36,960; and the "Pocket Non-standard Timber Volume Table" data increased from 19,260 to 30,780.
