Features: A paper-based cartoon animation blockbuster, a hilarious cartoon animation blockbuster that will make you laugh until it hurts, the new offering of the online "Zhou Xingxing" — Q-version "Water Margin Heroes." Since finishing The Diary of Sha Gen, my back doesn’t ache, my legs don’t cramp, and I’m no longer plagued by muscle spasms. I’ve grown particularly fond of Q-version works—like QQ, the four Queens in a deck of cards—all of which I adore. Perhaps this is what they call "love at first sight," so the idea of writing a Q-version piece popped into my head. —Lin Changzhi
Q-version Water Margin Heroes is finally completed, and for this, I’ve sacrificed much of my already slender waist and back fat, leaving my current physique so enviable that many MM (pretty girls) would drool over it for miles. But as long as this book brings joy to everyone, and if being a gaunt handsome man is the price to pay, then so be it. —The "Idle Busy Six" Creative Group, led by Lin Changzhi, was formed after The Diary of Sha Gen received positive reviews. At the time, Idle Busy was writing A Parody of Water Margin Heroes, and was nearly finished. After reading Idle Busy’s A Parody of Water Margin Heroes, Lin Changzhi recognized his talent and invited him into his creative group, even heavily revising the manuscript. Through continuous improvement, it was finally completed and renamed Q-version Water Margin Heroes.
When you first see Q-version Water Margin Heroes, you might think it’s subverting classics and history. In reality, the author’s intention was simply to bring readers joy. As the author once said: "When reading Q-version Water Margin Heroes, just think of it as watching an animated show like Tom and Jerry."
My mom is 54 years old today, but she looks very young, like she’s only 53. She has a kind face and a straightforward personality—typical of a Shandong woman. She’s incredibly proud of me, her handsome and successful son! Although she sometimes loves to show off, I know she just wants everyone to know that I’m her son!
In early 2005, on the sixth day of the lunar New Year, our whole family went shopping. In front of Bengbu Department Store, I saw three street vendors selling pirated books, including my The Diary of Sha Gen and Q-version Chinese. They were obviously pirated, and I was both angry and helpless, so I walked away. Then, I heard my mom and the vendors talking behind me.
"Do you have any books by Lin Changzhi here?"
"Yes, yes! His books are selling really well!"
"Are they pirated?"
"Heh, original versions are so expensive—mine are much cheaper."
I ignored them, fearing my mom might cause a scene, so I hurried forward. Just as I took a step, I heard her shout loudly behind me: "Lin Changzhi! There are your books here!" I nearly fell over—I mean, my mom usually calls me "Changzhi," but now she had me flash over to the corner of the street in a flash. Mom, what do you want from me? Are you trying to make me show off in front of everyone, even in front of the pirated book vendors? Cough, cough—this is what makes me cough so much!
