My Impure Years

Features: The Crown Book Series of the Global Chinese Youth Writing Talent Selection Competition. This "Crown Book Series," a collection of outstanding works from the competition, includes six excellent long and some short and medium-length works. Leo Wang Qilin achieves "My Impure Years" with a blend of realism and poetic language, also proving his writing intention—to record stories that exist in discovery with the heart; Chi Lutei's "Fe2O3 Planet's Feathers" is a fantasy novel. In the work, the ambiguous love appears pitiful amidst the questioning of war and the reminiscence of nature, leaving one sighing; Kasi, a college student, is both a beauty and an unconventional traveler. She describes herself as "often losing herself in the midst of writing interruptions," so her "Tearing It Up" carries a more avant-garde flavor, with both its text and themes going beyond the scope of youth literature. There's the fashionable touch in "The Ten Commandments of Stars," the innocence in "The Cursed Game," and the portrayal of growing pains in "Youth Faction," all of which reveal the rich inner world and unique personal style of the 1980s writers. May this "Crown Book Series" grow richer and more fulfilling with the passage of time, leaving a clear trail for youth writing and a series of unforgettable memories for youth. "Her naked body lost its smooth, girlish touch. Every time I touched it, the subtle resistance made my heart ache." Two pure, clear gazes explore various "impure" physical desires. A youth wanders through the dimly lit corridor of ambiguous passion, where age-gap love, sister-brother love, brother-sister love, unrequited love, triangular love, and polyamorous love grow, broken, twisted, sweet, empty, completing a hidden growth amidst the half-real, half-illuminated colors and light, and in the dangerous scent.
